The Jan Marini Luminate Face Lotion is a brightening lotion that addresses discoloration through a combination of brightening ingredients, mild acids, and antioxidants — with safe brightening ingredients.
The formula contains alpha-arbutin — a brightening ingredient that inhibits melanin production — supplemented with hexylresorcinol, which blocks melanin enzyme activity, and exfoliating acid, which exfoliates and improves the penetration of brightening ingredients. Unlike the Luminate MD variant, this is the standard entry-level pigmentation treatment — suitable for mild to moderate discoloration and as a maintenance treatment after the MD variant. Always use SPF when used during the day.

After cleansing, apply to the entire face. Start with once a day and build up to morning and evening. If used during the day, always use SPF.
Please note: this product contains exfoliating acid. Always use SPF during the day.
