The formula contains the patented TREACALM complex — a combination of plant-based ingredients that regulates bacterial flora, inhibits inflammation, and normalizes sebum production — supplemented with willow bark extract as a beta-hydroxy acid that exfoliates deep within the pores and targets blackheads. The pH value of 5.7 is similar to that of healthy skin, keeping the acid mantle intact. Unlike the pH Biome Gel Cleanser (for microbiome restoration), the Purifying Cleansing Gel is specifically aimed at acne treatment via the TREACALM complex.
