The formula contains 0.15% pure retinol — the starting concentration ideal for those new to retinol or with more sensitive skin that shows redness or flaking at higher concentrations — supplemented with soothing ingredients to minimize potential irritation. Unlike the ProAge 0.3%, which is for advanced retinol users, 0.15% is the recommended first step: start 2-3 times a week, gradually build up. Once your skin tolerates the 0.15% well, you can switch to 0.3%. ALWAYS use SPF50 during the day. Not for use during pregnancy.
